Fellowship

There are many opportunities for fellowship at ZMC, from congregational potlucks to small groups to community meals on Wednesday nights. If fellowship means food, we’ve surely got it covered! Some of the regular fellowship opportunities are highlighted on this page, but others pop up from time to time, and we are always open to new ideas. Everyone is welcome to join us for any of these events.

Wednesday Night MealsFrom 5:30 – 6:30 every Wednesday night, from September through May, a simple meal is served in the church dining room. Members and friends of ZMC take turns preparing the meal, and the whole community is invited to this informal time to eat and visit together.

Women’s Fellowship – This group meets in the church basement at 7:00 pm on the third Wednesday of every month from September through May. Each meeting begins with a devotional study and ends with refreshments and a short business meeting. The schedule showing who has volunteered to  lead the lesson and provide refreshments for each meeting can be found at Women’s Fellowship Schedule 2018. There is no formal process for becoming a member of this group, just come  join us for a meeting or two if you want to see what it is like!

ChurchwideFall Outing 2014 - fishing derby participants Fall Outing – Every fall the Mission Committee plans a churchwide Fall Outing, generally held outdoors and often involving a hayride, weiner roast, or other fun outdoors activity. A recent Fall Outing was held at Jerry and Janice McCarty’s farm on Sunday, September 14, beginning with a fishing derby at 2:00 p.m. and ending with a weiner roast.
